Pictured is my favorite mansion in the Garden District, across the street from Anne Rice's former house. Ironically, Gina had purchased a framed image of this mansion from a Michigan artist a couple years ago. Only after we'd developed the photos from our New Orleans trip did we realize that this was the very mansion hanging on her wall!
